The conference aspires to provide a forum for sharing both theoretical and empirical findings in text research as well as pedagogic practices related to the use of text and text-based activities in the development of language skills and subsystems in second/foreign language instruction. Our main aim is to bring together scholars and researchers who explore and analyse text from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives, including pedagogic, discourse, linguistic, psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic or translation, to name but a few.
The conference is organized by the English Language Acquisition and Teaching Department of the Department of English at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and the Department of Methodology and Typhlopedagogy of the Institute of English at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
